Project Life TLN | Scraptastic Kits

Today on the Scraptastic Blog, I am sharing two layouts using Scraptastic kits along with Nathalie Leonelli.

This spread is the This Life Noted (TLN) from April 2015. I have used most of this kit up! I really loved using this kit.
We took a trip up to Blue Ridge, Georgia to ride a train to McCaysville, Tennessee. It was fun and the kids enjoyed it. I really enjoyed the ride. It was relaxing for a day trip.

On the right, I cut down 4 inches of a 10-3x4, 1-4x6 pocket page to create a insert because I wanted to include a lot of photos from our trip.

I bought the fuse tool at Hobby Lobby (with coupon) recently. It was well worth the purchase. I see more fusing in the future. I created 2 pockets on this spread. I used the extra page protector sleeves from where I cut down the page protector to create this extra flap over a photo and added journaling on the back of the flap. I also created a 4x6 sleeve using a extra page protector. This is a great way to hide journaling.
This is the other side of the spread. I added a pocket with the velum clouds and sun to create a peek through pocket since it's all one event and a insert.
Creating demention with out too much thickness is important for me with PL. To create this, I layered the cut files for the April 2015 digital print and cut with the Elle's Studio stickers, a vellum star, and a couple of enamel dots and done!

Summer Wrap Up | Project Life

I have had so much fun creating a 2014 album. I am just now getting to completing all of my summer. I will be sorting trough vacation photos to complete the last few week of summer. I am so glad and proud of have my photos off my camera and into a "home" called Project Life.

Sometimes I don't have a lot to say, which was the case for this layout.
Supplies: Page Protectors, Card Kits: Coral and Sunshine.

My process is select photos, choose page protectors, add cards, then journal. That simple. I really want to keep it simple and do-able.

Project Life App

The Project Life App is getting close to being released. It is app that will allow you to create pages with the Project Life style then save, print, share all on your device. I am so excited to have been apart of the process of this app. I have been testing the app, as a beta tester, for the last month.

This app is pretty cool and so easy! I have had a fun time playing with the app. It is very user friendly. I like that I can scrapbook on my smart phone! How cool!

Here are some examples of what I have created using the Project Life App.

When it is released it will only be for Apple iPhones and iPads, but Becky has confirmed it will come out compatible apps at a later date. Becky has more information about this app over on her Q&A blog post.

This app will be great for the smart phone scrapbooker that just wants to get it done quickly and easily.

The release will be announced over at BeckyHiggins.com.

We are more than half way through 2014! I am still going strong on my Project Life Album. Though I work on my album once a month and about a month behind. It works for me! I have completed the Baby Album back in June and will be sharing the entire album next week. These spreads are from April of this year.

I am enjoying creating each of these spreads using just Project Life supplies. While I have used project life for a while, I haven't completed an year album. I am excited to see a entire year of photos and memories in one album. These spreads are from the Spring because I am behind a little (wink).

4 weeks of | Project Life

Sometimes the spreads come together perfectly: he color is right, the photos are right, and the journaling works. And then there is the other spreads that don't turn out like you had imagined them. For me, both happen often. But you know what, it doesn't matter. What matters is I got my memories documented. And that's why I like Project Life.

Design A and Strawberry Edition

Design F, Design A, and Coral Edition

Design A and Stamping Up Kit: Everyday Adventure

I am at that point in the process of my yearly Project Life that I am so behind. I am about a month behind this week. Things that are unfinished stay on my mind. So I have decided that it doesn't have to be week spreads. It is whatever I want to be, which is "just get it in the album." So yesterday, I sat down and got it together. I ordered all my photos for the last month and I am determined to work on it once a week and not once a month.

Catching Up | Project Life

I love the amount of photos I can put into a 12x12 page protector. So many that can be displayed in one album. That is one of the big reasons that I love using Project Life.

I am a little behind sharing my 2014 album since I have been sharing the baby album. These pages are from February and first week in March.

Documented the Ice Storm that kept us home half a week. I used Design A with an Design I insert.

Valentine's Day documented. Used Just Add Color and Jade core kits.

We spent a lot of time at the park this week because we had our ceilings smooth. So messy! I used Just Add Color (HSN) and Jade, Design A.

My favorite spread! Coral core kit, Design A, and E.

Baby Album Part 2 | Project Life

I love this baby book! As each month I add to it, it tells a story. I can pour my heart into the journaling and add all the millstones that have happened throughout the year. I am so excited to complete this album by her 1st birthday coming soon. I know one day she will look back through it and enjoy it as much as I do right now.

These are my most resent month pages. I plan to go back and add in months 1-7, but for now this is most fresh to me. I love these pages. Each one came together easily. The cards are perfect and fit my photos well. I have decided since I started this album, that I want it to be completely about her. I want it to be focus on her photos. The relationship type photos of her and Ruger etc will be in our yearly album.

Baby Album Part 1 | Project Life

As promised here is the baby album using Becky Higgins Project Life Baby Edition for Her. I really love how easy it is to do every month. The hardest part is getting my photos ready and printed for the pockets. It takes me about 30 minutes to for each month. It takes a little longer for me to print journaling on my 3x4 cards, but I like the result of hand journaling with typed journaling and will be do the same on my daily Project Life.

These pages are from the beginning of the album. Before she was born, I completed as much as possible.

I stamped the title with American Craft Alpha Stamp set. I took photos of my progressive belly shots from 12 weeks to 39 week photos and cropped them to a 3x4 and placed in each pocket and added journaling cards in between.

I did a combination of hand writing and printed journaling from my printer.

I cut down a Design B to add a insert. This is her big entrance photos from her birthday.

This page is all about her and her features. I wanted it to show just her and all the small details about her.
