giveaway winner...

Kim, please email me at thestewarts1(at)gmail.com.

Thank you for all of you who participated in the National Scrapbooking Day Bloghop!

Here are is a layout I worked on this week. I am thinking and dreaming of the summer. I decided to scrapbook these photos from 2 summers ago! When my now 3 year old was just a baby.

I used a lot of Dear Lizzy collections. I have been inspried to use the 3x4 cards that come in the Lucky Charm Collection 12x12 paper. I also used that lovely cloud paper from xoxo line. This was a super simple layout using the 3x4 cards into a grid.

Thanks for looking!

American Crafts National Scrapbooking Day Blog Hop

Happy National Scrapbooking Day! Glad you made it to my blog!

I want to share this layout I made using all Amy Tan's Yes, Please collection. I love the bright colors in this collection. I was inspired to create a layout using color. To contrast the color and make the colors standout I used white cardstock.

I used the EK Success border punch to create the small circles and I used a 1 inch circle punch to make the larges circles. I also used the circle stickers from the collection. I went form light to dark to give it almost a ombre effect. I added embellishments in the color section. Added some journaling. Then I misted and stamped using the AT roller stamp in the same color pattern a the bottom.

Thank you to all those who blog hopped along the Valentine's Day American Crafts Blog Hop. Thank you for all the wonderful comments.

I had a lovely Valentine's Day with my family all day and if that wasn't good enough, my husband bought me flowers (tulips and irises) and chocolates. We made sugar cookies and had a nice dinner.

Hope you felt loved on Valentine's Day!

Valentine's Day Blog Hop | American Crafts

Yay! You made it to my blog on the American Crafts blog hop. Happy Valentine's Day! Wonderful day to celebrate love. I really think Valentine's Day is a fun day to celebrate just for the cute decorations and scrapbook products.

I love AC's XOXO line! Beautiful color palette. I also love the sequin trend that has taken over right now. They are so little, shiny, and cheap easy to add these little embellishments to anything. I also used my Cameo to create a custom heart block. Behind some of my die cut I added snippets of pattern paper. Then I glued the sequins on with general purpose glue and with my sewing machine stitched down in a line through the hearts and sequins. I clustered some embellishments around my two photos and added a journaling card behind my photos.

I just love these photos of my son. This photo was taken last Valentine's day. A lot of times I scrapbook last years holidays. There is no such thing as being caught up for me.

Little Valentine

This little guy is my littlest valentine this year. He is honestly the sweetest little boy! He tells me "I 'wove you," surprise hugs, and "hold you" on a hourly/daily basis. He spreads so much love. I love him!

We have some fun planned for today to celebrate.

Happy Love Day!

I hope your day is filled with love.
